KDYN Music Limited, trading as Studio Inconclusive, is the controller of the studio booking and customer information described here. Our company number is 15129505 and our registered office is 1 Pancras Square, 1 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG, United Kingdom. The studio is at the Enterprise Centre, Chichester, PO19 8FY. Depending on how you use the studio, we may collect:

• Your name, email address, telephone number and general location.
• Account, membership, eligibility and verification status.
• Booking dates, session type, project notes, attendees and preparation acknowledgements.
• Payment, authorisation, invoice and refund references, plus the Stripe customer reference used to reconnect your saved payment method. Full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.
• Contract versions, the exact terms and acknowledgements offered, acceptances, timestamps, IP address and browser information.
• Relevant incident reports, equipment condition photographs, access records, repair evidence and correspondence needed to investigate damage, theft or a disputed claim.
• Application information, social links and messages you choose to send us.
• For Young Artist Access, the guardian's account information and limited attendee information such as a display name and age band.

We use Stripe Identity for a one-time check intended to protect artists, equipment and the room. Stripe may ask for a government identity document and selfie and may process biometric information with your permission. We record the verification outcome and provider reference; we do not download identity documents into the Studio Inconclusive booking database.

Stripe processes verification information under its own terms and retention practices. If you do not wish to use selfie matching, contact us before booking to ask whether a proportionate manual check is available. A failed automated check can be referred for manual review.

We use personal information to provide quotes, operate accounts, verify bookers, prevent misuse, take payment, manage sessions, send preparation and service messages, administer memberships and meet accounting or legal requirements.

Our main UK GDPR bases are contract, where processing is needed to take steps at your request or deliver a booking; legitimate interests, where proportionate for studio security, fraud prevention, proportionate incident investigation, establishing or defending claims and service administration; legal obligation, where records must be retained; and consent for optional promotional or content uses. Content consent is separate from booking and is off by default.

An under-18 does not make the booking contract in their own name. For an under-16 artist, A parent or guardian owns the account, completes verification, makes payment and must remain on-site. We minimise information about the young person and keep recording or promotional consent separate from studio access.

We use service providers where necessary: Supabase for protected account and booking records; Stripe for payment, subscriptions and identity checks; Resend for transactional email; Vercel for website hosting and aggregated analytics; and Google Maps for the location embed. These providers process information under their own security, privacy and data-processing terms. Some processing may occur outside the United Kingdom with the transfer safeguards used by the relevant provider.

Unsuccessful or incomplete enquiries are normally kept for no more than 12 months. Account and operational booking records are kept while the relationship is active and then only for as long as reasonably needed for disputes, safety, accounting and legal obligations. Contract and transaction records may be retained for the applicable statutory period. Identity materials held by Stripe follow Stripe's retention controls; you may also contact us to request early deletion where we are permitted to action it.

Essential cookies keep account sessions secure. Vercel Analytics provides aggregated information about site performance and visits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. The Google Maps embed may set its own cookies when loaded; see Google's privacy policy.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your information, or object to a use based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for optional uses at any time. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify the request before acting.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

We may update this policy as the studio develops. Material changes will be shown here with a revised date.
