Studio booking terms

A selected session is held for a limited time while checkout is completed. The booking is confirmed only when any required identity check and payment have completed and you receive a booking confirmation.

For a first booking, Stripe may temporarily authorise the full displayed total on your card. This reserves the funds but Studio Inconclusive does not collect them until the one-time identity check is approved. If verification is not completed or approved in time, we cancel the authorisation and release the session; your bank may take additional time to remove the pending entry.

Your card may be saved securely by Stripe for future studio bookings. Once the account is verified, selecting Reserve Session authorises us to charge the displayed total to the saved card immediately. If the saved card cannot be used, we may ask you to complete secure checkout again.

The confirmation states the room, service, date, start time, duration and total price. Prices shown at checkout include VAT where it applies.

Bookings are personal to the account holder and may not be resold or transferred without written approval from Studio Inconclusive.

Tell us through your account or the contact details in your confirmation as soon as you need to change a session.

If you cancel at least 48 hours before the start time, you may receive a full refund or move the payment to another available session. Between 24 and 48 hours, 50% of the session price may be retained and the balance refunded. With less than 24 hours' notice, or for a no-show, the amount retained may be up to the full session price.

Any amount retained will not exceed the loss Studio Inconclusive reasonably suffers from the cancellation. If the time is rebooked, or costs are otherwise avoided, those savings will be taken into account.

A late arrival does not extend the end time. Any agreed overrun is charged at the applicable account and time-band rate.

Studio Inconclusive may move or cancel a session where access, safety, illness, essential equipment failure, building restrictions or circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent it from going ahead.

If we cancel and cannot offer a suitable alternative, the affected session payment will be refunded. This does not limit any legal rights that cannot be excluded.

Attend only during the confirmed booking and follow the arrival, building, safety and security instructions supplied before the session. Access details are confidential.

The account holder is responsible for every guest they bring. Smoking, vaping, illegal drugs, dangerous behaviour and deliberate misuse of the room or equipment are not permitted.

Studio Inconclusive may end a session where conduct is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, seriously disruptive or risks the building, equipment or other people.

A parent or legal guardian must make the booking for an artist under 16 and remain on site for the full session.

Young Artist sessions are limited to the times and monthly allocation shown in the booking system. Proof of age or guardianship may be requested where reasonably required.

Treat the room and equipment with reasonable care and report faults, spills or damage immediately. The account holder is responsible for damage or loss caused by them or their guests beyond fair wear and tear.

Bring, back up and remove your own project files. Studio Inconclusive is not responsible for files or personal property left in the room, except where the law says otherwise.

Specific equipment may be repaired, replaced or substituted. Tell us before booking if a particular item is essential to the session.

The first booking may require a one-time identity check. Once approved, verification belongs to the account and is not ordinarily repeated for future bookings. We may require a new check where account security, fraud prevention or a material change of details reasonably requires it.

Specialist rates, credits and membership benefits apply only to the verified account that qualifies for them.

Booking, payment, verification and agreement records are handled in line with the Studio Inconclusive privacy policy. Full card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Studio Inconclusive.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in them excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply. The contract is between the person making the booking and KDYN Music Ltd, trading as Studio Inconclusive.
